ASID, CMKBD, CAPS, RID,
Retired, sort of 😎
Peggy, the founder of Kitchen & Bath Concepts, started her company in 1986 after working for Kirk Craig, a respected kitchen designer, for several years.
She has specialized in consultation, design, and installation of new and remodeled kitchens and bathrooms for over 40 years. Peggy retired from “active duty” in 2023, and her daughter, Micqui McGowen, became the owner and operator of Kitchen & Bath Concepts.
In her long and illustrious career in the Kitchen & Bath Industry, Peggy has been recognized and celebrated by her peers in the industry. She is a Past National President of the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) and Past President of the Texas Gulf Coast Chapter of ASID. Her work has been featured in numerous local and national publications and media outlets – too many to mention, and she has won design awards and served on advisory councils for major manufacturers and industry associations. She also has been a featured speaker for trade conferences and home shows locally and throughout the U.S.
Peggy now enjoys having time to travel, visit family and old friends, and garden (especially in her excellent new greenhouse, partially outfitted with display parts and pieces). However, she says she can never really retire or be disconnected from the work and career that brought so much enjoyment and satisfaction to herself and her clients over the years.
There is another chapter!
