Curb-less showers and comfortable height shower seats.
Hand-held shower heads on slider rods for flexibility or multiple heads – consider Kohler’s “Moxie”, shower with wireless music.
Good-looking safety handles that do double duty as towel bars.

Electrical outlets on the front of cabinets, or plug mould below the countertop edge.
Light switches at 36 – 42” above floor.
Raised dishwashers or dish drawers.
Lower sink and cook surfaces (have two sinks – make one lower).
No sharp corners or edges – use rounded edges on countertops.
Taller toe kick spaces.
Fewer wall cabinets – Use shallow tall cabinets for easier access.
Reinforced walls in bathroom and especially shower walls.
